Art & Culinary

Donna Cali is an Italian artist and chef who composes one-of-a-kind art pieces inspired by nature, music, and everything in between. Her food is authentic to her Calabrian roots, while infusing creative and exotic flavors, creating unique spins on classic dishes.

Art

Donna strives to inspire creativity in everyone’s minds when they look at her artwork. From fine line sketches to 3D multi-medium paintings, there’s a piece for everyone in her portfolio. Donna often wakes up in the early hours of the morning, when the rest of the world is quiet, to let her imagination run wild. Her inspiration can come from her past, places she’s visited, the music she’s listened to, but most often it comes from nature and animals.

Culinary

Donna was born into the culinary world. Her father owned a bakery, and he is the person who taught her from when she was a little girl. After his passing, she continued on his baking legacy, and expanded it to savory cooking as well. She owned and ran a deli and bakery in Florida for nearly 30 years, and currently operates Con Amore Ristorante in Corona, California. Donna is passionate about using high quality ingredients to create stunning, authentic Italian dishes.

Fashion

Donna’s persistence for one of a kind work doesn’t stop at art. She has designed stunning gowns inspired by peacocks, pianos, and saxophones. The Ferrari Club of Varese, Italy held a fashion show that featured Donna’s collection, but her most successful show was in Inverness, Florida. The show raised over $48,000 for the Pediatric Center at Citrus Memorial Hospital.

Working with Kids

Since the beginning of her career, Donna has been passionate about working with and helping children. She strongly believes that kids should freely express their creativity and widen the horizons of their imaginations. It is beneficial to have them involved in the kitchen, as well as drawing and painting. In 20–, she began a children’s charity called “Free Hugs For Books.” Donna had T-shirts made with her designs, and with the proceeds, books were purchased for an impoverished school in Honduras.
